Vologda mural
// A street-art festival mural

Description: During summer of 2022 our collective ЦЕХ (Tsekh or Glid in russian) was happy to take part in Vologda's first street-art festival Palisad. There were lots of writers all over Russia, and many objects to customize. However, we have chosen one of the most or maybe the most complex object. It took 5 days to create this 7 floor mural on a 9 floor building. During this period we have faced a lots of environmental challenges such as extreme rains or extremely hot sun. Despite that, the mural was done in time and before going to Moscow, we had a few hours to enjoy our work.

The narrative of this mural is strongly connected with a Phoenix bird (in Russia at is called Jar Ptitsa). This is a story of an infinite life. The seasons come and go, and the times changes. However Phoenix lives forever. His power to be reborn and to rise from ashes tells us, that despite it is a legend or myth, the power of hope will live until the last human alive.
